Important Homeowner Portal Update
Homeowner Portal Payment System Update
Autopay users will need to re-enroll beginning August 1, 2026.
Beginning August 1, 2026, online payments through the Homeowner Portal will transition to Vantaca Pay, a new online payment platform designed to provide enhanced payment features and functionality within the Homeowner Portal.
No Change to Homeowner Portal Access
There is no change to the way homeowners access the Homeowner Portal. Homeowners will continue to log in to the Homeowner Portal the same way they do today. This change only affects the online payment processing system within the portal.
Who Is Affected?
This update only affects homeowners who make online payments through the Homeowner Portal, including homeowners currently enrolled in autopay.
If you currently mail your payment or use your bank’s online bill pay service, you are not affected by the online payment processing changes and may continue making payments the same way you do today.
Payment Processing Fees
ACH/eCheck payments have historically been offered by Preferred Communities with no processing fee. However, due to the increasing costs associated with online payment processing, we are no longer able to continue absorbing these fees.
Beginning with the transition to Vantaca Pay, the following online payment processing fees will apply based on the selected payment method:
| Payment Method | Processing Fee |
|---|---|
| ACH/eCheck | $2.50 per transaction |
| Credit/Debit Card | 3.99% per transaction |
Prefer to avoid online payment processing fees?
Homeowners may continue to submit payments by mail or through their bank’s online bill pay service.
Important Information for Current Autopay Users
If you are currently enrolled in autopay through the Homeowner Portal, any autopay payments already scheduled through August 31, 2026 will continue to process as scheduled.
To continue autopay after August 31, 2026, you will need to set up a new autopay enrollment through Vantaca Pay on or after August 1, 2026. Existing autopay arrangements on Zego cannot be transferred to the new payment system and will automatically deactivate on August 31, 2026.
August 1, 2026
Homeowners who wish to use autopay after August 31 may log into the Homeowner Portal using their existing portal access and set up a new autopay enrollment through Vantaca Pay.
August 31, 2026
Existing autopay arrangements on Zego will automatically deactivate. Any autopay payments already scheduled through this date will continue to process as scheduled.
To avoid any interruption in scheduled payments after August 31, current autopay users are encouraged to complete the new enrollment as soon as the option becomes available.
Email Notifications You Can Expect
To help keep homeowners informed, Vantaca Pay will send automatic email notifications to the email address associated with the homeowner account, including:
| Notification | When It Is Sent |
|---|---|
| Upcoming Autopay Reminder | Sent before a scheduled autopay payment is processed. |
| New Recurring Payment Confirmation | Sent when a recurring payment or autopay arrangement is established. |
| Recurring Payment Cancellation Notice | Sent if a recurring payment is canceled or interrupted for any reason. |
| Payment Receipt | Sent after each completed payment for your records. |
We understand that changes like this can be inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this transition. If you currently use autopay, please remember to review your payment settings and re-establish your autopay enrollment on or after August 1, 2026.
