The primary focus at Preferred Communities is that of our distinctive customers. When we established ourselves in November 2005, we wanted to make sure that communities in Arizona were receiving the one on one attention they deserve. Our approach provides us an opportunity to make strides in the industry and provide individualized customer service “after the sale” not just during the bid process. Preferred Communities team members understand first hand how important one on one management and a dedicated board are for the success of every community.
The team that supports Preferred Communities brings a combined 34 years experience in customer service, home inspections, collections, communications, accounting and all areas of community association management.
Alan Hatch was the president of a self managed community from 2001 to 2006. This community had it struggles. With the assistance of Korin Hatch and a very active Board of Directors, they were able to bring this defunct and non-communicating neighborhood together. So much so, the City of Mesa presented the community with the ‘Spirit of Mesa Neighborhood’ award in 2004 for outstanding events and community building. Alan has also been an active board member for the Leadership Center since 2003 and is a certified mediator for the state of Arizona. He earned his CMCA (Certified Manager Community Associations) and his AMS (Association Management Specialist) through Community Associations Institute. Korin Hatch earned her CMCA and is also working toward her AMS.
We strive to provide honest, ethical, fair and reasonably priced services for community associations. It is very important that each of our communities reflect our motto: Loving Where you Live. This includes the overall appearance, the financial well-being, the day to day operations and the feeling of community in the Association, of which, the management company is apart. Our Collection service sets us apart from most of the Community Management Companies in the valley. We handle all collection services up to and including the Summons and Complaint, saving our communities thousands of dollars every year in attorney collection costs.
Our commitment to you is to provide excellent customer service to each Board member and to each homeowner in your community. Preferred Communities credo is to act in a reasonable manner and exercise proper business judgment in all areas. We never supersede the Board’s power in the community, rather, we will advise the board of proper business judgment.
